I spent a few days dealing with a problem. I changed to a new ISP Time Warner Cable, they offer a wonderful speed, no problems at all while surfing several devices within our home network, but VPN to office wasn't working fine.  I could establish VPN connection even I got another IP (from the range designated for VPN connections), but it was impossible to use our office services.  After a few long calls to TWC support, I noticed that the only services we could use where those we made reference without using the hostname, in other words, we just could use those services using the host IP.  Even browsing the internet after get connected thru VPN was not possible, for example, to get into google we typed the IP on the address bar 216.58.217.142  TWC Support was not able to give me any idea, but I searched a little bit more about the DNS configuration of ARRIS DG1670A. To fix it was so easy!!!  I'm not sure why, but TWC DNSs where not resolving an...

For digilink arrakis users, I'm sure you have face the need of surfing inside the logs which are called .dig files. Perhaps costumers have asked for a real report made from system. Well, you cannot deliver them the whole log but you can make something real with Dig striper. Dig striper is a vb.net program that searches for Audio names withing the .dig file and produces a .csv file with all the lines that match the criteria. Para los usuarios de digilink arrakis systems. Se acerca el momento de entregar testigos y con ello toda la documentación, usualmente los clientes quieren un historial de sus campañas. Digilink entrega un archivo .dig que es simplemente un log o bitácora de lo que fue "tocado". DIG striper es un programa que te ayuda a buscar entre los archivos .dig todas las ocurrencias de un comando o nombre de audio con la información que necesitas. El primer paso es elegir el archivo .dig después teclear lo que se va a buscar, exacto, parcial o el grupo de audios a buscar. El programa generara un archivo .csv en el escritorio con los resultados. Se recomienda no instalar el programa en el mismo equipo de digilink. Seguramente te ha pasado que después de aplicar ciertos upgrades a tu iphone, ipad o ipod lo notas lento, puede arreglarse de cualquiera de dos formas: A. Realizando un borrado de configuraciones. Settings_> General -> Reset-> Erase all content and settings B. Descargando el ipsw o firmware.  1. Descarga aparte el ipsw o firmware que sea el apropiado para tu equipo. Hay muchas paginas donde puedes conseguirlo. Yo uso http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ y no he tenido ningún problema.  2. Abre iTunes y conecta tu dispositivo con el cable USB  3. Selecciona el dispositivo  4. En windows manten presionada el shift, en MAC Alt/Option y elige restore  5. Busca el archivo ipsw y deja que se complete el proceso. OBVIAMENTE para no darte dolores de cabeza debes tener respaldados tus datos importantes ya que ambos procesos te dejan el equipo como recién sacado de la caja.
